Case Study #1 - High Traffic Commercial Plaza
Situated in the heart of Manhattan, this sprawling commercial complex covers a span of 10 different office buildings. When looking to upgrade their outdated card access and badging systems, owners had to consider many different factors. They needed a system that could accommodate over 30,000 cardholders and manage over 8 million square feet. TAC provided the solution to their problems.

Once installed, TAC's I/NET Seven now records more than 15,000 cardholder transactions per day, as well as thousands of other system events. Security personnel can quickly list individuals who access a particular building or specific floors using a variety of sorting criteria (e.g., date/time or tenant).
Case Study #2 - Major Utility Company
A major utilities provider operates New Englands largest energy delivery system, serving more than 1.7 million electric power customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire and 187,000 natural gas customers in Connecticut. By 1998 the utility was operating more than 40 sites, a number that continues to grow as the company acquires new utilities and erects new buildings.

In the fall of 1998, the company had to decide whether to undergo a Y2K upgrade for an access control system that did not meet its needs or whether to invest in a new system from another manufacturer. The situation seemed all too familiar.
Case Study #3 - National Physical Lab
This project needed an integrated solution to control HVAC, numerous chiller plants, boiler plants, generators, medical gases, fume cupboards, security and fire systems.

The sophisticated I/NET system not only handles the building automation, but also oversees more than 172 doors using proximity card based access control, designating more than 120 different access levels and providing intruder detection capabilities.
